I have been using Easy Mail Merge for some years on windows 7 and Office 2010 without a problem. Yesterday I upgraded MS Office to 2013 and now Easy Mail Merge will not allow me to search contacts for distribution lists. I assumed that my version was out of date and that I might need to purchase the product again in order to obtain the latest version which would be compatible with outlook 2013. This has not resolved the problem. So now I have 2 licences and a program which I cannot use. The error I receive is as follows:-

At: WizardSelectDistLists.cpp (173)
-----

Error code: 0x80004005
Location: Utils.cpp (125)
-----

Description: The application called an interface that was marshalled for a different thread.
Error code: 0x8001010E
Location: Utils.cpp (49)
-----

If I click "Contact support" I get another error which again is as follows:-

At: e:\work\CommonLibs\UtilsLib\Exception.h (63)
-----

Description: The application called an interface that was marshalled for a different thread.
Error code: 0x8001010E
Location: e:\work\CommonLibs\OutlookAddinLib\OutlookAddinLib\OutlookAddin.h (432)
-----

Please help me to resolve this issue.

regards,

HuN73R

Hello,

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this caused.

Unfortunately, EMM isn’t yet fully compatible with Outlook 2013... We have tested it and it can work though, so could you please try updating it to this version: http://www.emailaddressmanager.com/scripts/Download.ashx?prefix=emm&name=EMM-2.0.239?
Also, please try performing a repair procedure on your Outlook installation (that usually fixes issues with Contacts) by following the steps detailed here: http://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/outlook-help/repair-office-programs-HA010357402.aspx. We do have a new version for it, but are waiting for a certificate from a 3rd party in order to release it. It shouldn’t be long before it is available, but we hope that we can get it working for you in the meantime.

Please inform us of your findings, we are looking forward to your reply.
