I've just installed easymailmerge onto my system that runs Outlook 2007 (but no other Office programmes)

I've found the toolbar no problem, but when I click on 'Start Session' an error message pops up saying:

failed to initialize session. Unable to connect to database.
Error code 0x80040E4D
No description available

Where to go from here?

Hi Russell,

That error says that the program couldn't open your contacts data due to an SQL error (login failed). Please update your Microsoft JET Database Engine to v4. See this page from the Microsoft web site: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/239114 (scroll down and download the right setup for your Windows version).
