Are you sure the problem is caused by Easy Mail Merge? The add-in does not operate unless you create a mail merge session, so I doubt it can cause Outlook to crash when opening regular emails...

What Outlook version and 3rd party add-ins are you running?

Regards,
Bogdan

Outlook version 2002 (10.6822.6830) SP3. Under Con Add Ins there is itunes Outlook addin - I disabled it and now I can preview the emails without Outlook shuting down. However when I look at the calender in Outlook, Outlook still restarts on me. Under Add In Manager I have the option to install Exchange Extensions Property Pages - when I go to install the following files are available - All are ECF extensions - awfext - dlgsetp - dumpster - faxext - frmrdrct - mail3 - msfsmenu - msfsprop - msspc - olmenu - outex2 - outex - pmailext - rwiz1 - scrptxtn. I really apreciate your help and feel I am getting closer to getting this resolved.

Hi,

Do you get any error message at all when Outlook crashes on the Calendar view? When Outlook restarts, does it notify you that it wasn't shut down properly?

Regards,
Bogdan

If you disable or uninstall Easy Mail Merge, are the Outlook problems gone?

I am not sure what to suggest... Easy Mail Merge doesn't do anything on Outlook, unless you start an Easy Mail Merge session from its toolbar. Otherwise, it shouldn't have anything to do with the Outlook functionality.

What type of email accounts do you use? POP3, IMAP, MS-Exchange accounts?

POP3 email accounts are used. When EMM is disabled or uninstalled I have no Outlook issues.

Please make sure Outlook is up to date with the latest patches from Microsoft. You can use the Outlook Check for Updates function (under the Outloo Help menu) to search for Office/Outlook updates.

Also, please run a Detect & Repair job (from the Outlook Help menu -> Detect & Repair), maybe there is something corrupted on your mailbox.
