I just recently downloaded the latest Mail Merge executable, ran it, installed it (had to close Outlook for it to install). Once it was done, it launched Outlook and I got the initial popup with 3 options - Buy, Activate and Try. I want to try it out first so I clicked on Try. Worked fine, got the tooltip window. Now every time I close that tooltip window, Outlook just stops working (it crashes) and I have to close and start again. Now when I start it again normally, I don't see anywhere that I can use Mail Merge features. Please keep in mind that its outlook 2010 and all prev results have all pointed to older versions of outlook with toolbars etc, but this is different.

I have checked the ribbon and Easy Mail Merge is in the add ons. The EMM service is running. But I can't find anything. I dont think it installed correctly because during the initial crash, it mentioned the EMM dll file in the crash details. Please help.

We apologize for any inconvenience this caused.

I gathered that you tried re-enabling it, right? Just to be sure, you can re-enable the add-in by going to File -> Options -> Add-Ins and see if Easy Mail Merge is listed under the Inactive or Disabled Items section. If it’s listed under either of them, choose “Manage - COM Add-ins" from the bottom part of the window, click on “Go”, then select Easy Mail Merge on the popup list and choose to Enable it. You will have to restart Outlook in order to apply the changes.

Else, please just reinstall the latest version of EMM (available from either www.emailaddressmanager.com or www.outlook-apps.com) and try again.

Please inform us of your findings, we are looking forward to your reply.

Best Regards,
Andrew Smith
