I get the following error when trying to install Easy Mail Merge on a PC running MS Windows 98 SE and MS Outlook 2000.

I have disabled the antivirus program that is running. I have shut down all other programs so there is nothing else running (no firewall, etc.) when trying to install.

Please advise. Thank you.

Hi,

Easy Mail Merge works only on Outlook 2002 or above. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Well, I was able to install it on another PC that is running Windows 2000 and Outlook 2000 and Easy Mail Merge works perfectly????

Hi,

Easy Mail Merge works on Outlook 2000, but because Outlook 2000 is the first version of Outlook that implements add-ins it is possible that an add-in can generate errors or cause Outlook to crash. That is why we don’t recommend that Easy mail Merge to be used with Outlook 2000.

If you don’t have other add-ins and if you have the default Outlook settings Easy Mail merge should work fine on Outlook 2000.
