I am trying to use the "$" sign as part of regular text, not to insert a field - for example: buy now for just $10

Hi Kim,

Just for other users, we are posting here the reply we already sent you by email:

All you need to do is to double type the $ character, so Easy Mail Merge will not interpret it as a mail merge field. When the message is previewed or sent, the program will automatically replace the double $ char with a single one.

For example, instead of typing "$250", type it as "$$250" - you will see that it gets sent/previewed as "$250".

Also, if Easy Mail Merge will further trigger an error stating that it can't find property "" (nothing between the quotes), most likely, the mail merge message was created by copying some text from an external source and paste it to the message. When doing so, Outlook carried over some hidden HTML tags. When you alter added the extra $ to bypass the Easy Mail Merge field delimiter, although the message shows $$, in fact the message source code contains some hidden tags between the $ characters. The solution is to edit the message, erase both $ characters, then retype them one after another.
