B&W was working fine but outlook seemed to crash frequently so I checked for an outlook update and there was one - so I updated it.

Now B&W does not work at all and no B&W tab.

When I try to run the outlook add-in utility, it says "failed to get outlook version information". when I try to add it as an add-in through outlook I get the same error. Install does not give any errors but uninstall and re-install does not seem to do anything.

I am running win 7 and MS Office Professional Plus 2013. the version number in control panel/program is 15.0.4454.1511

I am dead in the water right now.

please help

Hello,

We apologize for any inconvenience this caused. Unfortunately, B&W isn't yet compatible with Outlook 2013... we are working hard on an update, and it should be available shortly.
We have tested it on Outlook 2013 though, and it usually works - could you please provide us with a screenshot of the error message, so that we can get a better idea about what is going wrong? Maybe we can find a quick fix so that you can use it in the meantime.

We are looking forward to your reply.

The product was working perfectly in outlook 2013 - no issues

Outlook was crashing a lot so I installed the latest outlook 2013 patch and ever since that, the B&W tab is now gone.

I unistalled and re-installed b&W and although there were no errors reported, there is no B&W tab either.

when I run the OUTLOOK ADD-IN UTILITY which is part of B&W, I get FAILED TO GET OUTLOOK VERSION INFORMATION dialog box with an ERROR heading and an OK BUTTON. that is it.

when I try to add the add-in via outlook directly I get this same error.

I dotn know how to add the inage/screenshot here, but there is not much to show. there is no B&W tab and this error only happens when I try to run the utility or add the B&W via outlook directly.

help - I was very happy with this tool and I want it back.
thanks
tom

Hello,

We apologize for the delayed reply.

Most likely, Outlook just disabled Bells&Whistles. Please try re-enabling it with the steps provided here: http://blogs.office.com/b/microsoft-outlook/archive/2012/10/08/take-control-of-your-outlook-2013-add-ins.aspx. If this doesn't work, then I'm sorry but you will have to wait for the update - as I stated previously, B&W isn't yet fully compatible with Outlook 2013 and any number of issues can come up.

Please inform us of your findings, we are looking forward to your reply.
