OL2010. my Default email account is comcast, (POP). I also have an Exchange account. As we all know, OL2010 now forces yuo to send through any installed Exchange account when right clicking on a file, left clicking, "Send To", "Mail recipient". Or, when rsending a link via a web browser.

My question to you is can Bells & Whistles somehow "force" ALL outgoing email to go through my default, (Comcast/POP), email account? If it can, you have yourself a paying customer. Thanks.

Hello,

Thank you for the interest in our product.

To fix your issue you can add or edit a registry key to force Outlook to ask you to select an account every time you send a new message. Unfortunately, Replies and Forwards always use the account the message arrived on. Just press the Windows key + R, then type regedit and go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\14.0\outlook\options. There, you can enter:

Value Name: ForceAccountSelection
Value type: REG_DWORD: 1 for force, 0 to disable.

Thus, Outlook will ask you from which account you want to send the new message every time you click on the Send button. Even so, Bells&Whistles could help you out in your day-to-day tasks, I will email you immediately after the new version is launched (since it will add support for Outlook 2010 along with many other things - you can find out more from: http://blog.emailaddressmanager.com/index.php/2011/overcome-daily-routines-by-using-the-new-version-of-our-award-winning-email-tool-bellswhistles/).

Please feel free to contact me again either on this forum or by email, to support@emailaddressmanager.com if I can be of any more help.

Kind Regards,
