 Post subject: failed to save license information

Hi

A few months ago I installed Bells & Whistles to send a mass mail to all unanswered post.
Everything worked well, easy to use/configure... Now after lot's of work done and the program expired, I purchased a full license of the program.

When I tried to activate it, I get the following error:

Code:
failed to save license information. License save error. Error code 0x80070005


I get the same error when using these activation 'offline' files.


Any ideas?

Hi Peterv,

Please let me know what operating system are you using and also do you have an antivirus installed on your machine? If you do please make a rule to allow BWOpts.exe to run.

I'm using Windows XP

For the moment I have karspersky running on my computer (work).
Even so I close the application, it still gives me the same error.

I tried checking the taskmanager for any process leftovers of the firewall, but none.

I've purchased this at 2009-07-08 09:33:07 and really need to start using it.

Hi Peterv,

Sorry for this late reply, a workaround would be to uninstall Bells & Whistles, deactivate you firewall and reinstall it using the following link : http://www.emailaddressmanager.com/outlook-bells3.exe
