Apparently, in order to upgrade B&W one must uninstall the previous version. I read here somewhere that B&W info (such as templates) is stored in the registry. Will I lose this stuff when I uninstall the previous version?

Why are we forced to uninstall the current version in order to upgrade?

I assume you are upgrading from v1.x to v2.5 - the templates engine of v2.5 was redesigned, in order to allow rich text formatting of text templates. Some other features were redesigned, so the program can't be installed over the old version.

Still, even by uninstalling the old version and installing the new one, you shouldn't loose the templates - the new version must theoretically pickup the old templates and use them.

Maybe it works in theory, but I just uninstalled and upgraded and all of my templates appear to be gone. The dropdown list is empty. Major bummer!
