How about adding a Tracking Number to each new task?

Thanks a lot for the suggestion. Can you please detail what exactly you envision for it? I mean, if we just add tracking numbers to each task subject, what benefits will they bring? Will you find it easier to track tasks?

We use Outlook Tasks in an Exchange Public Folder to track client issues or trouble calls. Some clients would like a "case" number or "ticket" number for invoice reference and correspondence.
