My outlook keeps generating an error. "The program ['C:\PROGRA~1\MICROS~Office10\OUTLOOK.EXE"] caused a problem and is going to close. Would you like to save a dump file? Yes or No. I have reloaded Outlook 3 times. And problem still persists. Do you have any suggesstion?

What Outlook version do you have? Do you have any Outlook add-ins installed on your computer?

Regards

Briefly, there can be two main causes for this problem:
1. Outlook registry values or file resources are corrupted - on this case, try to solve the problem by running the Detect & Repair tool from under the Help menu of Outlook;
2. you may have installed an Outlook add-in which caused Outlook to crash (or you may have two add-ins which create a conflict). For this case, I recommend you to download and install Bells & Whistles for Outlook (see the top/right Download link of this page), then use its Add-in Utility to see what addins you have installed. Try disabling them one by one (or all of them at the same time) until you will manage to start Outlook without crashing. Then, once you identified the faulty addin, uninstall it or look for updates/fixes from the addin developers.

If none of these 2 solutions work, then try updating Outlook (go to the MS Office home page and let it search for updates) or reinstalling it.

I hope it helps,
Bogdan
