Post subject:  Different Setup for an MS Exchange Account?

I work in a corporate environment and my Outlook feeds off an MS Exchange server. I set up a rule with some keywords so when ever an email hits my Inbox and the keywords are in the subject or body, it should send an auto-response.

However when setting up the rule and given the option to select an account to send from, nothing is there. Thinking maybe the selection of an account was only necessary if another account would be used to reply with, I went ahead and tested the rule by sending myself an email from another account and nothing happened.

Do I need to select an account for this to work and if so why wouldn't my exchange account show up?

Hi Chris,

Auto Reply Manager can see the accounts if are normal Outlook accounts. So, if you have Exchange accounts instead of normal Outlook accounts (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) you can choose the folder where you receive the email accounts for a certain email account and Auto Reply Manager will reply to all the emails (that meets the requirements of the rule you defined) received into that folder (exactly what you did).

Please check if you didn't set too many filters so that the email can be replied.

Have you checked the Execution report (Auto Reply Manager-->Rules-->Show Execution Report) what says at the description for that email?

Usually when you send from one computer an email and you receive it on the same computer, Auto Reply Manager will not reply to it in order to prevent email looping. Please try to send a test email from another computer.
