I have an issue that is causing me some headaches. My computer recently crashed and I had to reinstall windows on a new hard drive. I had my rules backed up for auto reply manager. I reinstalled everything and copied over my backed up rules and everything appears to be working perfectly fine, but when I ask people are they receiving my emails(which are auto replies) they say they haven't received anything. The email shows in my sent folder as well. Now, I took what was sent to them and copied it into a new email and sent it myself, from the same email address, and it worked. So when it was auto-replied, they didn't receive it and when I sent it myself, they did receive it. What could be causing this issue?

I checked the log file and it looks normal. I use auto reply manager to send emails for Ebay auctions that are won:

<Subject>Item #22073******** Instant payment received from tampabaybob (tbb*******@gmail.com)</Subject>
<Message>Message processed by rule "****** 8700".</Message>

One other thing to note, if I try to modify my rules....say add a Hotmail inbox to which folder to monitor and send auto replies if something is received there...when I close outlook and open it back up, auto reply manager will error and say there is a problem with my options file and delete all my rules. Therefore, I can't modify my rules that much as it crashes out and deletes all my rules. Any ideas?

Thank you for supporting our products and we sincerely apologize for the issues you have been experiencing.

The behavior described in the beginning of your post may be due to a spam filter present on your recipients server. ARM composes the message in Outlook and once they are the Sent folder, then they surely have been sent. Your recipients, however, may not receive them if a spam guard/blocker/filter-type of program is present on their server and is configured in such a way as to reject some emails (that contain the words "auto reply", for example). When you compose the replies personally, then the words "auto reply" (as per my example) are not present in the message so it gets through, otherwise it is not directed to your contacts Inbox.
Is this a general occurrence, with all of the auto-generated replies, or just with some of the sent emails?

Is the crash present only when you configure a Hotmail Inbox, or with any POP account? Could you please try with another one, since Hotmail has different settings in Outlook and that may be the cause of your problem.
