Hi DS Team,

I would to inquire about the Auto Reply Manager tool.Forwarding function question :

I would like to know if it has the capability to add a custom note or disclaimer to the email, ie ; "This is intended only for the employees of the Company" before it will be forwarded to the recipients.
I happen to install the trial version and added a note to the message settings tab and did some tests, unfortunately the message is not added to the forwarded item. No Logs also.

We plan to use this mailny for forwarding messages to goups, individuals. Is it also possible to skip the autoreply function and just use Forwarding with customized note/disclaimer?

Would appreciate any feedback. Thank you.

Regards,
Valerie

Hi Valerie,

Is the forward message actually sent without the note OR is it not even generated & sent? If the log is empty, it means the forward message was not generated - this normally happens if the rule you setup did not match any received email, so please make sure your auto-forward rule is setup accordingly...

Regards,
Bogdan

Hi Bogdan,

It seems the forwarding action is triggered if the messages received is also forwarded.

Do you have any program that will help us?

Regards,
Valerie

Hi Valerie,

The forwarding action trigger has nothing to do with the way the incoming email was generated (new mail, reply, forward).

Please detail what exactly goes wrong (some screenshots would be great).

Regards,
Bogdan

Hi this is the Rule (forwarding) that I have created

I have tried it with/without specifying any sender email address

Also tried with/without keywords

I've only seen this work once, and that was when I forwarded a message to myself.
Please advise what I need to do in order to make the forwarding action work.
Thank you.

On the Sender Filter tab, you are using the option to only reply to one message per contact/sender per Outlook session. If you are testing it by sending emails from your own accounts, it will only work once per account, until you restart Outlook.

For testing purposes, please use the option to generate automatic emails "for all incoming messages of the same sender".

Also, if you mark the option to reply only "if the message is received from one of the specified email address", make sure you also add those email addresses on the list. If this option is enabled but the list is empty, the program will not send any automatic emails.

Kind regards,
Bogdan
