If you are using the evaluation version, please note that it does not handle more than 5 auto-replies per Outlook session.

Also, please send a test email from an internet browser (e.g. yahoo, gmail etc) or try to send email from a different computer with different email accounts that the ones you have on your computer. It is not recommended to test Auto Reply Manager with emails sent from your account to the same account or to an account from your computer because Auto Reply Manager will not send an automatic reply to these emails to prevent email loops.

Bogdan

Where is the incoming email stored in Outlook? If the incoming email (to which Auto Reply should generate an automated email) is not put in your default Inbox top folder, then please edit your rule and specify the exact folder where the incoming email is placed.

Also, please make sure the rules are actually enabled. Maybe you disabled the rules execution by mistake (from the Auto Reply Manager toolbar, go to Rules -> Edit Rules - see the "disable rules" option).

Bogdan

Can you plese setup a non-Exchange email account (like a POP3 account) on Outlook and make an autoreply rule for that account? For example, you can setup a yahoo or gmail POP3 account on Outlook.

My point is to figure out if the problem is related to Exchange or not.

Thanks,
Bogdan

Post subject:  Auto Reply Not Working

I am having the exact same problem. If I send an email from our internal Outlook account, it works. But does not work on any other emails. What do I do to fix this. I bought the program, am not using trial version. I'm desperate for help.

Post subject:  Same Here - Not Working

Same as the other posters. I am using trial version and have carefully setup the ARM add-in. Tested with all types of addresses and configs. It simply does not work. Clues?

Concept is great and I would love to purchase, ut I've got to see it work first.

WinXP Pro (all current updates)
Office 2007 Pro (all current updates)

Hi,

Are you using v1.5 or v2.0? Are you sure the rules are enabled? If so, can you please open the ARM Log / Report and see if there are any entries listed? If there are, please let me know if the entries have green or red icons.

Thanks,
Bogdan

Can you please use the Contact Service Support button located on the Auto Reply Manager toolbar and send us an email with it? This way we can gather Outlook & Windows information (version, 3rd party add-ins) that will help us a lot to identify the cause of your problem.

Thank you,
Bogdan

Same exact stuff here jmzimmerle. Set it up carefully and just nothing happens. Also running XP SP2 and Outlook 2007.
