Hi Joe,

In Email Address Collector, does it show the Outlook Express root entry (but it's empty) or does it only show the MS-Outlook folders (nothing about Outlook Express)?

Maybe you are using a different mail profile for Outlook Express. When Email Address Collector starts, you are prompted to select your mail profile. Maybe the default profile belongs to Outlook, while for Outlook Express you are using a different profile. You can manage mail profiles from the Windows Control Panel.

Regards
Bogdan

I was just wondering what the "root entry" you spoke of is? I am trying to compare two outlook .msg files to determine if there is a difference. To the *SPAM* eye, they are identical but when i run a comp i get the following result:

Compare error at LINE 3
file1 = P
file2 = à
Compare error at LINE 3
file1 = '
file2 = –
Compare error at LINE 3
file1 = ‹
file2 = ³
Compare error at LINE 3
file1 = P
file2 = ð
Compare error at LINE 3
file1 = '
file2 = L
Compare error at LINE 3
file1 = ‹
file2 = ±
Compare error at LINE 3
file1 = P
file2 = ð
Compare error at LINE 3
file1 = '
file2 = L
Compare error at LINE 3
file1 = ‹
file2 = ±
Compare error at LINE 5
file1 = ~
file2 =
10 mismatches - ending compare

and around line 3 if i look at it using a text editor (i realize the line numbers are the binary line numbers and different than the ones notepad will display) i see a "root entry" entry there that i am unfamiliar with. If you could provide some explanation of this I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!
