Hi,

I like your software, just got it today v 3.2 -c, but
I don't see any "Mailto" function at all.

I'm using Outlook 2003 and am on a private network.

Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong. Attached is a
screenshot and everything else works fine.

Thanks,

Joe

Hi Joe,

Because of anti-spam regulations, we had to take out the "mailto" function from Email Address Collector. However, that "mailto" function was only inserting the selected addresses into a TO, CC or BCC field of a new Outlook email message.

You can achieve exactly the same result by copying (copy to clipboard) the email addresses and then using the paste command to insert them into a new Outlook (or else) email message.

Also, you can save all the addresses into a new Outlook Contacts list (on the third panel of Email Address Collector), then you can open Outlook and select that list for the TO, CC or BCC field of a new email. You can also use the list for a new mail merge session.

Regards
Bogdan

Hi Bogdon,

Thanks,

Should have figured out the "copy to clipboard" solution myself - but it's a good thing you pointed it out because I don't think I would've caught on anytime to soon.

Still can't do mass paste into a new group but I'll survive.

I'm willing to be a Beta Tester if you like. Sent email in.

Software really is nicely done!

Regards,

Joe

Hi Joe,

Sounds really great. We are working on a new version of Email Address Collector and we plan to release it during June, so probably by the end of May I will drop you an email about the beta version for testing.

Many thanks,
Bogdan
