Post subject:  Alternative to Earthlink?

I'm a member of a group (http://www.anhglobal.org/) and I want to invite all the members to participate in a virtual conference.

I've obtained a list of the e-mail addresses of about 3000 members. Unfortunately, I'm using an Earthlink e-mail account, whose server is set up exactly to reject any such mass mailings.

Can anyone possibly suggest an e-mail service that allows such mass mailings--and trusts its members not to spam?

Hi Michael,

The alternative would be to use a mail merge program (check out our own Outlook addin, Easy Mail Merge - see the Products link from the top of this page). You can use such a program to send only a couple of emails at a time (so if you send 3000 emails, they will be sent in separate batches of 2-3 each, every 1-2 minutes). This way, you will pass the anti-spam protection of your ISP. Also, the program generates separate outgoing emails for each email address, so they will also pass the anti-spam protection from the receiver's computer.

I'm using Outlook Express, not Outlook. Is Easy Mail Merge compatible?

Hi Michael,

Easy Mail Merge is an add-in for Microsoft Outlook 2002 or higher not for Outlook Express. Sorry for the inconvenience.
