Post subject:  Not accessing IMAP email account (*fixed)

Hello,

When I start up Email Collector and select my Outlook profile the application is able to pull in all the local folders in Outlook, but not my IMAP email account. This account appears in the folder tree with a red "X" through it. When I try to refresh I get an error message that says:

"Failed to read Microsoft Outlook folders. Unable to open messages store "mail.augsburg.edu". Error code 0x80040111"

By the way, any chance of updating the program to work with Thunderbird?

Hi Bill,

We have found the problem and we are working on a fix for it. Thank you for your report on this error. Sorry for the inconvenience.

We are thinking of implementing support for Thunderbird in a future version of Email Address Collector.

Hi Bill,

We have just released an update which will solve the problem with the IMAP accounts. Please update the version of Email Address Collector you have installed to the latest version (4.0.49).

You can update using the “Check for Updates” option from under the Help menu of the Email Address Collector. Another method of updating to the latest version is to uninstall the version you have installed, download the latest version from our website and then install it.
