Hi,
I have some different wab files. In the wab files there are distribution groups. Now we have to change system for handeling the adresses. So I need to pull the adresses out of the wabfiles and create a big file to be able to prosess the different addresses.
Please let me know if Emailadresscollector is the right program for me. I tried the free version but it could not copy the selected addresses to paste them to some cvs-file. I also need to know if it is possible to handle the many different wab files. I plan to install up a new computer for this. Do I need outlook installed or is it OK with Outlook express.
Please let me know.

Hi,

With the demo version you can’t save the extracted email addresses. If you register Email Address Collector you will be able to save the extracted addresses to a CSV file.

To extract from all your WAB files you need to export each WAB file as CSV and after you finished exporting all your WAB files as CSV enter in Email Address Collector and select all of the exported CSV files and extract email addresses from them. In this way you will extract all of the addresses (you will not have any duplicates) and you can export them as CSV. To export WAB files as CSV please go to Windows Address Book (Windows Start->run write WAB and press ok) File->Export->Other Address Book->Text File (Coma Separated Values).

You only need to have Outlook Express installed.
