When I run the software, nothing is being extracted. I tried to run against various mailboxes which contain hundreds of emails, but nothing happens.
Help troubleshooting says this:
If you selected an email folder which contains emails, but when extracting with Email Address Collector no addresses are found, then you need to check your email account properties and to modify its settings in order to fully download every email message to your local disk, when receiving emails.
Especially on IMAP or newsgroup accounts, it is likely that Outlook does not download the full message body to your local disk, as a result Email Address Collector can't extract the desired addresses.
And yes, all mails reside on my local machine. So why is nothing extracted ??
Also, the help file doesn't match the software version. It says under File Menu:
Open Address Book
Save Address Book
The program shows:
Save Session as...
Of these only Open Session and Exit are ever enabled. Open Session expects me to point to a csv file, but I haven't been able to create one because the program doesn't extract and output anything.
