Hi

I purchased your program today. I've installed the Email Address Collector and paid for it. I received the serial number via
e-mail, but it keeps getting rejected. I tried the second method of creating the activation file, but that doesn't work either.

Can you help me out with this?

My reference number is: 4588070

What is the exact error message that you receive when trying to activate the program?

When I enter my serial number an error box pops up that says:
Failed to save license information. License save error. Error code 0x80070005

When I try it using the file I get the message:
License activation failed. ElgamalEnc/Crypto++Padding: invalid ciphertext

Hi Dwimble,

The error is not caused by the license itself (your license is active), but by the license file saving process. When the license is activated, it needs to be saved to disk. According to that error message, the program can’t save the license file to disk, because it does not have rights to save it.

There are two solutions:
1. Make sure you are logged on to Windows using an Administrator account with full read/write rights on that Windows installation;
2. If you are running Windows Vista, most likely the problem is caused by the User Account Control feature (in case it was tweaked). To fix this problem, please disable the UAC Vista feature while you activate the license. Then you can re-activate it again.
