I am running Vista Home Premium and Windows Mail 6.0.6000.16386

I can't get your program to display the necessary folders in my Windows Mail.

The folders that your program lists on the side don't include the base folder where my mail files are ... which is a few subfolders below the "AppData" folder.

Is there an option in your program that allows a person to see hidden folders and files? Or am I not seeing the folder for some other reason?

Could you give me specific instructions on how to extract e-mails in Windows Mail?

Thanks!

David

Hi David,

In order to extract from Windows Mail, you don't have to use the "Folders & Files" extraction option (which I assume you are using, since you refer to the AppData folder).

Instead, locate the Windows Mail / Outlook Express tab (on the left/bottom menu of the main Email Address Collector window) and click on it: it should load & display your mailbox folders on the top/left panel just like you see them in your Windows Mail account. Then you can select the desired mail folder and extract from it.

Regards,
Bogdan
