Hi, we've been using the product for a while and have just bought the latest version.

We are desperately trying to extract any email addresses from email headers...is this possible?

Regards,
T

If you want to extract any email address from the hidden content of email headers, please configure your extraction filter NOT to exclude email addresses that look like automated/spam addresses.

If by "email header" you mean the TO, CC and FROM fields, you can configure your extraction filter to extract only from those email fields (it will exclude the hidden email header and the email body).

Bogdan

Hi, the email header I am talking about is when you go into Outlook, double click the message to open it in it's own pane, then clicking "options" then you'll see the header field in it's own box at the bottom of this window. We need the email address out of that! I can't see how to do this atm.

Regards,
T

Hi,

After you right click on a mail folder and choose to extract addresses from it, you are prompted if you want to use a filter or not. Choose to use a filter, then make sure the option "Exclude suspicious addresses" is not enabled.

If it still does not work, please email us at mailto:support@emailaddressmanager.com with a sample email (you can save it from Outlook as an .EML message) from which the addresses are not properly extracted, so we can investigate it further.

Regards,
Bogdan
