Post subject:  how to restart a session that has stopped midway

I am posting here as there has been no response from support (22 hours so far).
We used Easy Mail merge for the first time and it stopped midway (643 of 784 sent).
This could have been caused by the fact we were editing the contact folder at the time the session was underway. But this should not have caused this issue?
Is there a way of restarting the session so as to not re-send the emails already sent?
In other words, is it possible to start the session again and delete or bypass those emails already sent?

resorting to answering my own questions:

1. tried re-opening session and sending again (with 30 second delay). Went to the Outbox and manually deleted the emails already sent (643). This is not so onerous as they come 10 at a time.
However, when Send/Receive activated, the emails just sat in the Outbox and were not sent. Thinking there might be a timing problem(643x30 seconds = more than 5 hours) I then;
2. repeated this procedure with do delay (ie send 'all at once'). By pausing the session every 25 emails (we can only send 25/10minutes) the emails were eventually sent.

But, there must be an easier way!
Anyone have a solution to this?

About the send delay, make sure your Outlook Send/Receive scheduler is setup to perform a send/receive operation at a time period similar to the one you setup as a delay period in Easy Mail Merge. So, if you configure your mail merge session to send 10 emails every 2 minutes, make sure Outlook is also configured to perform a Send/Receive process every 2 minutes. Unfortunately, Outlook does not let you specify time periods less than 1 minute...

ps: this thread was moved to the Easy Mail Merge topic category.
