I just installed version 4.0.38 of the Email Address Collector.

I seem to get the following message for every Exchange server folder that I am trying to extract from:

Failed to extract addresses. Unable to open folder.
Error code 0x80040107

I seem to be able to extract from PST files, but not from folder in Exchange mailboxes (not even my own mailbox).

Has anybody experienced the same problem?

Any comments will be appreciated.

Hi,

Please go to Email Address Collector->help->Check for updates->Check now. This will automaticaly update Email Address Collector to the latest version where we have fixed this problem.

When you update Email Address Collector, a window appears at a certain point of the updating process. In that window a list will be displayed with the applications that need to be closed in that moment so that the update can continue. Usually Email Address Collector and Outlook need to be closed, so when this screen appears please close Outlook and Email Address Collector and press the "Retry" button.

Thanks for the quick answer.

I had to try the download (of 4.0.42) about 3 times before it succeeded, but once it downloaded competely, and installed the problem was fixed.
