Hi Dwimble,
The error is not caused by the license itself (your license is active), but by the license file saving process. When the license is activated, it needs to be saved to disk. According to that error message, the program can’t save the license file to disk, because it does not have rights to save it.
There are two solutions:
1. Make sure you are logged on to Windows using an Administrator account with full read/write rights on that Windows installation;
2. If you are running Windows Vista, most likely the problem is caused by the User Account Control feature (in case it was tweaked). To fix this problem, please disable the UAC Vista feature while you activate the license. Then you can re-activate it again. If you don’t know how to disable UAC, please see this quick tutorial:
