Hi

I am evaluating Easy Mail Merge and in trying it out, I used a csv file from Excel. While the merge "worked", it couldn't insert a field. I was trying to insert a name field.
I noticed that the $ is missing as a bracket around the field. It looks like this:

Dear ^First Name^,

I'm sure I'm doing something wrong. Can you help me?

Verison information:

Outlook 2003 11.8118.8132 SP2
Easy Mail Merge 1.1.91.0
Excel 11.8134.8132 SP2

Thank you!

Hi,

Because the $ sign was frequently used in emails and was causing some confusion, we have decided to switch to ^ who is not used so often in writing emails. Didn't the field show up during preview?

Kind regards.

Thanks for responding so fast. The ^First Name^ showed up, but the content did not show in the preview.

Instead of Dear Andra, it shows Dear ^First Name^,

Hi,

Can you please send screenshots of the message to mailto:support@emailaddressmanager.com. Also, please send the message using the "Contact Service Support" options from the Easy Mail Merge menu. This will help us gather some information that will help us assist you.

Kind regards.
