Hello

I have installed youir product

I use Outlook as an email client runing on XP SP2 using Exchange Server

Emails to my private address are autoforwarded to my work email address

I have some rules in Outlook set up that check the "From address" of incomming messages and if tehre is a match the email is auto filed in a new folder in my Exchange server folder structure

I have Auto reply manager set up to reply to emails that appear in this folder and then file teh original email in another folder

Sometimes it works (1 in 5) but most times it doesn't

Can you help?

Hello,

Please open the Log file by clicking the "Show Log" button on the Auto Reply Manager toolbar. Tell me if the messages that weren't replied to are listed there. Id they are, please tell me if they have a green or a red circle in front of them.

Kind regards.

The ones that have been replied to have a green circle and the ones that haven't have a red one, in teh ones with teh red circle the Sender and Subject have N/a, the description says "Unable to initialise processing of teh message, The message you specified cannot be found"

Hi,

This error appears when there is an Outlook rule that moves the email that should be responded to another folder. The Auto Reply Manager recognizes the message, then it is moved by Outlook and our product doesn't find it anymore. Please check your rules, both Outlook's and the Auto Reply Manager ones. If you can't solve the problem, please send an email at mailto:support@emailaddressmanager.com with screenshots of your Auto Reply Manager rules, and with the description of the Outlook rules that move emails from one folder to another.

Kind regards.

Hello

You are correct that Outlook forwards the appropriate emails to the folder that your product monitors. I tried using your product to monitor the emails as tehy arrive in teh Inbox but had the same problem.

Could it be to do with teh fact I use Outlook in Cached exchange mode sometime off line and sometimes on line?

I can send screen shots if required, do i need reference?

Thanks

Hi,

Please set Outlook to stay online with Exchange (and not set to switch to the offline mode). This might be the problem.

Kind regards.
